My daughters begged me years ago to start my own Scouts as the groups they had tried were not up to their standards. I gathered some parents who had the same idea and we founded Dale Scouts. Our motto is "We survived the 80's, so can you."
The 2024-25 season had several memorable moments with fire extinguishers, medical emergency management, wilderness survival school, bridge building, finance, and a number of other crazy modules. Thanks to Tim and Cassie for Radio skills, maps/orienteering, potato cannons, climbing, archery, and all the help, I could not have pulled this off without you guys, and I can't wait for next season - I have some ideas!
Above: Tim stress testing each bridge by adding water to jugs attached to the center of each 8' bridge. The winner held 4Â full jugs or about 32lbs, not bad for popsicle sticks and hot glue!
