Looking for a deal on FB I found an estate sale of a retired machinist who had this 3,500lb Wells Index CNC monster mill in his garage. It had not run in years and was clearly broken at least. But the ways were clear and the tolerances were tight.....and for $200, you can't pass that up!

if you need help moving one, I am busy that day unless your name is Tim. Thanks Tim.

We had to split it in half to move it, and the Bobcat is struggling to move one half.

loosing my forklift license kiddo.Â

The cabinet was all trashed, it looks neat but it is mostly junked.

3 months and parts from 2 other CNC milling machines, part of a stereo, a Vevor VFD, part of a model "T" (really), half a mile of wire, a dumpster computer running Mach 3 (who keeps throwing these out?), some 3D printed parts, and the usual miscellaneous contributions - and it works as well as a new one!
